Quick Screenshots

Especially of part of the screen, for quick uploading.  Not comprehensive, just the top tools.

Linux (Ubuntu/Gnome):

  • GIMP – File > Create > Screenshot (or File > Acquire > Screenshot)
  • scrot
  • import (ImageMagick)
